How Shailendra Optimized Complex Exports with LoadViewer’s Smart PO Splitting
Ship smarter and faster with LoadViewer—reduce PO splits, optimize container movements, and ensure 100% compliance to simplify your logistics operations.
The Backbone of a Leading Exporter
Shailendra has been a key logistics expert in a renowned handicraft manufacturing and export company for over 30 years. His company has earned over 20 Top Export Awards, including five consecutive wins. Known for his calm and solution-driven approach, he mastered the art of meeting diverse buyer requirements.

Over the years, Shailendra had tackled countless logistical hurdles, ensuring seamless exports despite strict buyer mandates. But as international trade dynamics evolved, so did the challenges—sometimes pushing beyond human capabilities.
The Challenge: Meeting Buyer Mandates with Precision
Buyer WSI required Container Load Plans (CLPs) to be finalized 21 days before shipment. Once submitted, the plan had to be followed exactly, with no last-minute adjustments.
No PO could be split across multiple containers unless required due to size or volume constraints.
Additionally, the buyer required every 40 Feet Hi-Cube Container Load (FCL) to have more than 60 CBM, making it critical to maximize FCL utilization while keeping Less-than-Container Loads (LCLs) to a minimum.
The exporter operated across four divisions, each handling distinct cargo types:
- 📦 GL (Glass) – Fragile and space-intensive
- 📦 MT (Metal) – Heavy and dense
- 📦 WA (Wood Accessories) – Small but varied shapes
- 📦 WF (Wood Furniture) – Large and bulky
Efficiently loading containers wasn’t just about space utilization—it required:
- Minimizing unnecessary inter-division cargo transfers
- Optimizing mixed-load container movements across divisions
- Strategically allocating cargo to prevent underfilled containers and avoid excessive manual adjustments
Given these strict buyer mandates and the exporter’s operational constraints, a strategic and intelligent load planning approach was essential.
The Data: A Complex Shipment
- 📦 14,754 SKUs, weighing 30,424.41 KG.
- 📦 6,999 cartons of 105 different sizes.
- 📦 Total volume: 619.88 CBM.
- 📦 67 POs, requiring minimal splitting for efficiency.
The Solution: LoadViewer’s Smart Optimization
- ✔️ Optimized container allocation, filling 9 Full Container Loads (FCLs) with just 24.47 CBM left for LCL.
- ✔️ Minimal PO splitting—only 3 out of 67 POs were split due to unavoidable constraints.
- ✔️ Strategic cargo loading to optimize movement and reduce handling.
- ✔️ 100% compliance with WSI’s 21-day submission mandate.
Beyond One Shipment: A New Standard for Efficiency
By leveraging LoadViewer, Shailendra’s company achieved:
- 🚀 More shipments with fewer containers, cutting freight costs.
- 📊 Reduced manual intervention, freeing up resources and reducing errors.
- ✅ Consistently meeting buyer mandates, strengthening long-term relationships.

"Over the years, we've explored multiple solutions—both free and paid—but none have fully met our needs the way LoadViewer does. FILLO, its AI-powered companion, suggests optimal solutions whether we ask it to fill an empty container or optimize a partially filled one. It’s truly a game-changer in cargo optimization."
